Gallery Avalanche is pleased to announce its inaugural exhibition, 1.a In Memory of, showcasing the work of Maria Koshenkova alongside the acclaimed duo León & Cociña. Set within Ravnsbjergkirken, a brutalist church designed by C.F. Møller and a symbol of Danish modernist architecture, the exhibition explores themes of vulnerability and the human condition.

Koshenkova’s glass sculptures, resembling abstracted human organs, are thoughtfully placed throughout the space, creating a visceral dialogue between the sacred and the carnal. Their fragility reflects the delicate balance of life, resonating deeply within the church’s unique acoustics and striking design.
